This picture is taken from the book The Mysteries of Harris Burdick by Chris Van Allsburg. The page says, " Just Desert. She lowered the knife and it grew even brighter." Please write your story about this picture taking in mind about the writing.

Why write?

This is a great question of why writing is important to you. Think about why you want to write. I told the story in class that I learned at a very young age from my mom that writing words down can be very powerful and that one needs to be careful what they put in writing. I also learned from my mom that written letters are a reminder and a wonderful memory that someone can have. Writing can be books, journals, letters, emails, papers and just notes! Why do you write?
